EAST WALL OF CHURCH…..


1.    The Angel appearing to Martha and Mary at the Tomb.

        

       "He is not here for He is Risen."


       In loving memory of William Charles Stewart Carmichael; born 14th May 1853: Died 22nd August, 1892.


















2.    The Lord's Supper. This magnificent window portrays Our Saviour, surrounded by his disciples, dispensing the Last Supper.


       "This do in Remembrance of Me."


        In loving memory of Graham Menzies of Hallyburton. Born 15th Novem­ber, 1820: Died 20th November, 1880; and of his eldest son, Robert Stewart Menzies of Hallyburton. Born 29th September, 1856: Died 25th January, 1889.

3.    Christ blessing the children.


        In memory of James, son of the Revd. James Fleming, Kettins, Born 19th November, 1871: Died 21st November,   1885.

       Donor: Rev. James Fleming, D.D.






















4.    A double window portraying the Birth and the Baptism of Christ.


       The Birth of Christ. Angels appearing to the Shepherds'.


       "Glory to God in the Highest and Peace, Goodwill Toward Men."


        The Baptism of Christ.


        “This is my Beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased."































5.    Faith.


       "Above all taking the Shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked."

6.    Hope.


      "For the law made nothing perfect, But the bringing in of a better hope did, by the which we draw nigh unto God,"

7.    A double panelled window portraying the Resurrection and the Ascension of Christ.


   The Resurrection of Christ.


   "But now is Christ Risen from the dead and become the first fruits of them that slept."


   The Ascension of Christ.


  "And it came to pass while He blessed them He was parted from them and was carried up in to Heaven. "































8.    Simeon sees the Child Jesus and blesseth God.


       "Lord now lettest thou Thy servant depart in peace,"


       To the Glory of God in affectionate Remembrance of Alexander Geekie of Baldowrie. Born 21st October 1811:

       Died 14th September, 1889.



















WEST WALL OF CHURCH…..


9.     A beautiful three panelled window depicts the parables of the Sower, the Good Samaritan and the Reaper.


       Dedicated by the tenantry of the estate of Lintrose to the memory of Mungo Murray, their landlord. Born 4th

        December, 1802: Died 14th December, 1890.





















10.   The Parable of the Talents.


       "Well done thou good and faithful servant."


        In loving memory of Peter Carmichael, Arthurstone who died 6th May 1891, aged 82, and Margaret Carmichael his

        wife who died 4th May 1871 aged 52. This window is erected by their neices Grace M. Low and Beatrice Lyell.

11.   Christ praying in the Garden while His disciples sleep.

       In loving memory of Graham Menzies of Hallyburton. Born 15th November, 1820: Died 20th November 1880. Erected by his widow, sons and daughters.

12.  Christ carrying the Cross on His way to Calvary.


       In loving memory of Robert Stewart Menzies of Hallyburton. Born 29th Sept­ember 1856: Died 25th January, 1889.

        

       Erected by his mother, brothers and sisters.


13. Dorcas giving garments to the poor.


 "This woman was full of good works."

 

       Dedicated by the tenantry of the estate of Lintrose to the memory of Anne Murray of Lintrose. Born 27th February, 1812: Died 11th July, 1898.

14.  Christ enthroned, surrounded by Angelic Hosts.

15.  The Calling of James.


 "I will make you fishers of men.


 To the Glory of God and in memory of Rev. James Fleming, D.D., Minister of Kettins 1868-1913 who died 21st  September, 1913.


16.  The boy Jesus expounding with the wise men in the Temple.


       "His mother kept all these sayings in her heart."


       To the Glory of God and in memory of Mary Stewart Fleming, who died 2nd May, 1896.
